What is Journey?
Journey: Cozy Focus Timer (远行 · 专注计时, also known as JourneyFocus) is an iPhone focus timer by VecBits. It combines 1–180 minute focus sessions, nature sounds, hand-drawn destinations, collectible creatures and keepsakes, a journal and milestones. It is designed for studying, reading, writing and deep work.
Can I use Journey as a Pomodoro timer?
Yes. Choose the 25-minute preset for a Pomodoro-style focus block, or use 15, 45, 60 or a custom 1–180 minute session. Journey focuses on individual sessions and discoveries; breaks and the start of your next session are up to you.
What can I use for free?
The free version includes the focus timer, nature sounds, Mosslight Forest and its 30 creatures and 30 keepsakes, your journal, and milestone tracking. Journey Pro unlocks the other four destinations, their collections, and account cloud sync.
Do I need an account or an internet connection?
You can start a focus session without signing in to Apple. Focus timing and local progress work offline. An internet connection is needed for purchases, account features and cloud sync. Pro is required for account cloud sync and cross-device recovery.
Does Journey block other apps?
No. Journey supports focus through a timer, ambient nature sounds and collectible discoveries. It does not block apps or websites, and does not provide Screen Time restrictions.
Which devices and languages are supported?
Journey is designed for iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later, with English and Simplified Chinese interfaces. Download it from the App Store; availability depends on your storefront.
How do Journey Pro subscriptions work?
Journey Pro offers monthly and yearly subscriptions through the App Store. View current pricing in the app before subscribing. Manage or cancel a subscription in Apple’s subscription settings, and use Restore Purchases in Journey when needed.
